Why hire a coach?

One of the mistakes I often see is people believing they need to be a certain level before getting a coach. When in fact, we tend to benefit most when we become educated, informed, and have a structured program to follow. 

 

Around here we believe that knowledge is power. I educate my clients on how to master their body movements and understand the human movement system; with that knowledge comes strength, injury resilience & the performance you are striving for.

Is a custom digital program for me?

It’s not right or necessary for every runner.

But it is valuable when:

  • Aches/pains that are preventing you from enjoying your training.

  • You have goals but are stuck in a plateau or not seeing progress

  • You need accountability to show up for yourself

  • You have questions and want an experienced coach who will provide valuable feedback, answer questions and keep you on track.

Why not use a workout app or free plan?

The problem with YouTube videos or apps like Peloton is they aren’t a training plan customized to you. They don’t take into account your schedule, the types of runs you’ll be going on (long run, hill day, speed day), and when you happen to get sick or need vacation. There’s no one around to help you adapt the plan, to build in the strength exercises that will keep your knee pain from flaring up.
